You already come to your pharmacist for medication questions, vaccinations, and prescription care. Now, through our partnership with Scripted, Couch Pharmacy can help with even more of your everyday healthcare needs.
Point-of-Care Testing
We offer convenient in-pharmacy testing services including:
- Flu Testing
- Strep Testing
- COVID-19 Testing
- RSV Testing
Testing is performed right here at Couch Pharmacy, allowing you to receive results and discuss your next steps as well as a prescription on-site with a pharmacist during the same visit.
What is Test & Treat?
Test & Treat allows our pharmacist to do more than simply perform a test.
After reviewing your symptoms, medical history, medications, and test results, our pharmacist can determine whether you qualify for treatment under established clinical protocols.
When clinically appropriate, eligible patients may receive a new prescription from the pharmacist, and in many cases, we can fill that prescription before you leave the pharmacy.
More Than Testing
Through Scripted, our pharmacists can also evaluate eligible patients for a variety of common health concerns that may not require a traditional doctor's office visit.
The process is simple:
1. Complete a brief health assessment.
Tell us about your symptoms, medications, allergies, and medical history.
2. Meet with our pharmacist.
Our pharmacist will review your information, perform any necessary testing or assessment, and determine whether the service is appropriate for you.
3. Receive treatment when appropriate.
If you meet the clinical criteria, the pharmacist may issue a new prescription and we can fill your medication right here at Couch Pharmacy.
If your symptoms or medical history indicate that you need a higher level of care, we will recommend that you see your physician, urgent care provider, or other appropriate healthcare professional.
